SECTION 24 COMMITTEES

CALL FOR EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST – SPECIAL COMMITTEES OF COUNCIL

Under Section 24 of the Local Government Act 1993, Glamorgan Spring Bay Council (GSBC) has a number of Special Committees in place to assist with the management of community assets and services.

Council would like to invite any interested members of the Glamorgan Spring Bay community to submit an expression of interest (EOI) for consideration by Council to sit on the Tasmanian Seafarers Memorial Committee and/or the Spring Bay Eldercare Committee.

We encourage applicants with an interest in to apply.

The EOI application form and confidentiality agreement should be received by no later than close of business on Friday 26 April 2024. 

All submissions should be addressed to the General Manager, Mr Greg Ingham via e-mail admin@freycinet.tas.gov.au or mailed to PO Box 6, Triabunna, 7190.

 

Council has established a number of Special Committees under Section 24 of the Local Government Act 1993, to allow Council to collaborate and engage with the community in relation to specific areas of interest.
