Workshop to Help Women Run for Office

Women for Election candidate training program is a highly practical, non-partisan workshop that provides women with key knowledge of how to campaign at all levels of government. 

Learn the tools and techniques to run for office, be the best candidate you can be, or assist another women with her political campaign.

When: 19th October 2024 from 10:00am to 4pm.

SCArts 2024 Shearwater/Yolla/Muttonbird Lantern Parade

Come and participate in the SCArts 2024 Shearwater/Yolla/Muttonbird Lantern Parade,  It is intended to hold the parade on Saturday 19th October at dusk (around 6.30pm) beginning with a gathering and sausage sizzle barbeque at the amphitheatre on Jubilee Beach then parading with lanterns onto the Swansea Golf Course and proceed to an area adjacent to - but not close to - the rookery area. The participants will be given a talk on the life and migratory habits of the Shearwater and then the parade will return to the Amphitheatre.

You are invited to attend the Annual Classic Car Show held at the Village Community Centre in Triabunna, British and Non British Classics warmly welcomed.

Entry is by Donation.

The Eastcoast Regional Development Organisation Inc.
The Village Market is held on the 3rd Sunday of every month.
Where: The Village 20 Melbourne St Triabunna Market time: 10.00am to 1.00pm. All our usual stalls, a chance to see the latest Art & Craft Exhibitions of local artists, other Village activities including Spring Bay Community Boat Shed, Community Wood Working Group, Village Garden, Contemplation Garden, Food and drinks available including BBQ 'Bunna burgers & sausages, Wood fired Pizzas
The range of stalls includes second hand books, bric and brac, local craft, fresh vegetables, seasonal plants for sale, locally made jams, preserves & cakes. All proceeds from Stalls and our sales go to the daily operations of The Village.

Tasmanian Bushland Gardens Sculpture Trail

Come along to the official opening of the sculpture trail at the state's only regional botanic garden. There will be food, coffee, cakes, wine, music & plant stalls. Plus a create a clay sculpture for kids.

When: Sunday the 20th October, 11:00am - 2:00pm

Where: Tasmanian Bushland Gardens, Buckland. 

Trail open day entry $10 per car.

The sculpture trail will be open for six weeks to coincide with the best display of springtime wildflowers.
