TasNetworks is installing community batteries as part of our commitment to support a renewable energy future. Community batteries are installed in neighbourhoods to store electricity, like excess solar generated from the houses around them. This energy can then be used to power nearby households in the evening, strengthening the electricity grid and making it more reliable.
Information Session
1pm – 3pm, Friday 15th of Nov.
(Opposite 41) Harold Street, Coles Bay Near the Community Hall.
Come and chat to us about this exciting project at its proposed location, near the Community Hall in Coles Bay, to find out what it means for your community. We’ll be there to share information and answer any questions you have about this technology.
