Join us for EmergencyRedi Sessions in Orford and Triabunna! 
The Australian Red Cross, in partnership with funding from the National Emergency Management Agency, will present EmergencyRedi sessions to the Orford and Triabunna townships.
Location - Orford Hall
Date - Friday, 20th Oct
Time - 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM

Now is the perfect time to either create or update your emergency plan! Australian Red Cross have you covered with FREE planning toolkits, valuable information, and some delicious food!
Can't make it to the sessions? No problem! Australian Red Cross offer an outreach service. They can come to you to help you with your emergency plan. Just get in touch with Jess:

Be inspired by four beautiful films made by award-winning Tasmanian filmmakers - featuring Tasmanians showing grit and resilience in their everyday lives. Then participate in a lively discussion over morning tea. 

The films are:

Alone Together, written and directed by Dylan Hesp. A comedy about feeling lonely. 

Grey Power, written and directed by Lara van Raay. Four retirees decide it’s time to get active and shake up the establishment. 

The Tea Leaf Reader, written and directed by Elli Iliades. A touching drama about a Mother facing the challenge of learning to read. 

Handmade Happiness, written and directed by Vivien Mason. An animation about people using craft to make their lives better including a men’s knitting group. 

Brought to you by Tasmanian Community Fund, Wide Angle Tasmania, A Fairer World and U3A Wynyard.

Community Connect Session – Triabunna

UPCOMING COMMUNITY CONNECT SESSIONS

Council would like to invite you to the below Community Connect sessions to engage on Thursday 30 November 2023
These sessions will be held with Councillors and Senior Management.

When: Thursday 30 November 2023  (2:00pm - 3:30pm) 
Where: Triabunna Town Hall 

The purpose of Community Connect is to enable Council and the community to engage in constructive discussions that can assist Council in delivery service for you. Your input is valued and important.
Council will update you on key organizational matters and provide information on projects specific to locations. There will be ample opportunities for feedback and engagement.
Please note that these sessions are not intended to be public complaint forums, as there is a separate process available for that.
