Triabunna Village Community Market
The Eastcoast Regional Development Organisation Inc.
The Village Market is held on the 3rd Sunday of every month.
Where: The Village 20 Melbourne St Triabunna Market time: 10.00am to 1.00pm. All our usual stalls, a chance to see the latest Art & Craft Exhibitions of local artists, other Village activities including Spring Bay Community Boat Shed, Community Wood Working Group, Village Garden, Contemplation Garden, Food and drinks available including BBQ 'Bunna burgers & sausages, Wood fired Pizzas
The range of stalls includes second hand books, bric and brac, local craft, fresh vegetables, seasonal plants for sale, locally made jams, preserves & cakes. All proceeds from Stalls and our sales go to the daily operations of The Village.
Costs of stalls are only $5. If you are a seller of hand made products or produce and you would like to talk about a Stall @ The Village Market, please contact Stalls Co-ordinator Glynis:

ECHO Festival

The East Coast Harvest Odyssey, known as ECHO Festival, has become known for weaving together immersive sensory experiences around the traditions of harvest, old and new. This boutique festival guides guests on a journey of exploration that encompasses all senses – taste, smell, sight, sound and touch.

ECHO Festival is back in 2024 for another year. Hosted in the picturesque wine country on the fringes of Swansea, the 2024 program brings together chefs, winemakers and producers along with artists, musicians, storytellers, scientists, entrepreneurs and thought leaders.

The Mitchell Women: a journey to unknown stories

The Mitchell Women: a journey to unknown stories

In association with the exhibition Dear Kate now showing at the East Coast Heritage Museum, the artist Jane Giblin will be running workshops to share what she has learned about The Sarah Mitchell Scrapbook.

In the workshop you will join Jane in investigating the images and stories emerging from the scrapbook and learn to work with ink, nib, and watercolour.

You will be assisted to write and illustrate your own stories and think about how we capture family histories, how we might draw them and the added value of writing about them.

Workshop fee: $46 (Please pay in cash on the day - correct money appreciated)

What to bring: A few family pictures, comfortable clothing, a bottle of water. All art materials are provided but bring some of your own if you prefer.

Art supplies will be provided.

Numbers are limited (15 at each event) so please let us know which workshop you want to attend by emailing Cecilia.broderick@freycinet.tas.gov.au
