The Unveiling of “The Frederick Pegg Changi Flag”

Swansea RSL cordially invites you and your family to the unveiling of “The Frederick Pegg Changi Flag”.

Frederick Pegg fought in Java and Timor and was declared a prisoner of war in 1942. During his time as a POW in the notorious Changi POW Camp, he kept a Union Jack Flag hidden in his possession and it was signed by his fellow prisoners. The Pegg Flag represents the lives and war experience of nearly one hundred men and is an integral part of Australia’s Military History.

The Pegg Flag will be officially presented to the Swansea RSL;

When: Sunday the 1st of December at 11:00am

Where: Swansea RSL (2 Noyes Street, Swansea)
