Waste Transfer Stations
Due to unforeseen circumstances, the Bicheno WTS will be CLOSED on WEDNESDAY, 19th August 2026 – Council apologises for any inconvenience and disruption this may cause.
Please check current status, as hours vary season to season.
Winter Operating Hours/Days apply from Monday 13th April 2026 – November 2026.
The following Winter Operating Hours/Days will apply from Monday 13th April 2026 to November 2026 at Orford, Swansea, Coles Bay, and Bicheno:

Eftpos is available at all Waste Transfer Stations.
The Orford Waste Transfer Station may close with limited notice due to adverse weather conditions (such as excessive wind gusts), for the safety of customers.
Builders waste is not accepted at any of our facilities.
