Free green waste disposal Sunday 4th October 2026. All waste transfer stations will be open from 9am until 3pm on this day only.
This offer is for green waste only, not any other waste/rubbish. The green waste MUST not contain anything other than green waste, if it doesn’t grow it is not green waste.
There will be a council inspector onsite to ensure no contamination is in the green waste, any contaminated loads will be rejected.
This offer is for light vehicle loads only (cars/utes/trailers). Bulk or truck loads will be charged the normal green waste fees. This offer is only for private residents, not commercial disposal use.
Please follow all directions given onsite by council representatives.
NOTE- there will be higher vehicle movements on this day at the waste transfer stations so please keep children in your car for their safety.

Eftpos is available at all Waste Transfer Stations.
The Orford Waste Transfer Station may close with limited notice due to adverse weather conditions (such as excessive wind gusts), for the safety of customers.
Builders waste is not accepted at any of our facilities.
