New gross load limit

The small wooden bridge over Saggy Creek on Rosedale Road now has a 3-ton gross load limit on it. No vehicles/machinery heavier than 3-ton gross may traverse over this bridge.
Contractors are currently being sourced to undertake works on the bridge to lift the load limit to 10ton gross. Signage will be erected on Rosedale Rd to indicate the load limit.

Update: On the 26th and 27th August contractors will be working under Saggy Creek bridge on Rosedale Rd , Bicheno to undertake repairs. During the 2 days of work traffic controllers will be managing traffic onsite. GSBC apologise for any inconvenience or delays caused by the works.

New Playground Lions Park Bicheno

The week of the 17th August 2026 the old playground at Lions Park, Bicheno will be permanently removed from its current location.
Construction of the new playground in the new location (north of current location) in Lions Park will commence on 24th August 2026 and take approx. 6 to 8 weeks to complete.
During this period there will be no playground at Lion Park, an alternative playground is located on the corner of William St and Rose Street, Bicheno.
